When we receive your deposit and/or full payment, we will think that you have read and agreed the following terms and conditions. We suggest that you’d better read them carefully before you make a reservation with us.
Despite how excellent achievement we have gained in the past 20 years, we can understand your uncertainty for transferring money to an online company for the first time. So we try our best to offer you safe payment. We sincerely hope that our payment guide will make you ease.
1、How much to pay?
1. Once you decide to use our service, US$200/person is required as deposit to confirm your reservation with us. You may pay the balance when you are in cash when your tour actually begins. But in that case, the deposit (US$200/person) is not refundable if you cancel this tour. Or you may make full payment to lock your reservation. In this way, what you need do is just relax yourself in China.
2. If the rate for Shanghai trip is under US$100/person, we can accept non-deposit reservation. You may pay the tour fare in cash when your Shanghai trip commences.

We welcome you to use PayPal online payment, whether you have a PayPal account or not.
Once you confirm the rate with us, your trip advisor will send you an email to give you PayPal link. Click out the link. If you have already got a PayPal account, you only need to fill your PayPal account and click the “pay” button. If you don't have a PayPal account, please provide your credit card information. PayPal supports all the major credit card and debit card.

Payment via Credit Card Authorization Form
E-commerce infrastructure is not safe enough as in western countries. So we don't provide online credit card payment. Instead, we accept credit card payment with authorization letter by fax. It is much safer and easier. The credit cards we accept include: American Express Card, JCB card, Diners, Visa and Master Card. Once we get your fax, we will send you an email to inform you of the receipt. At the same time we will turn to Bank of China for help to get your payment from your credit card issuing bank.
Notes:
It takes about 10 days for your credit card payment to reach us. So please do confirm your booking with us more than 10 days prior to your departure date.
Credit Card Payment is not feasible if you confirm your booking within 10 days before your departure date. In this case, you may choose to pay us by wire transfer.
If you book tour packages(excluding day trips), the credit card processing fee is on our account.

Note:
Please write your trip advisor's name on the postscript when you transfer the money. It takes 5 days to 3 weeks for your wire transfer to reach our account. So the Wire Transfer Payment is not valid if you confirm your booking within 20 days prior to your departure date.
3. Cancellation & Refundment
Although we will feel regretful at your cancellation of your China tour, we understand that there may be many reasonable conditions that you have to do so. If you cancel the trip, you must notify us by mail or by fax.
If you have made payment before you have to cancel your tour to China, we will make the refundment to you as followings:
Cancellation received more than 7 days before departure:
Subtracting 20% service fee, we will refund the balance to you.
Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 50% of the tour price.
Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price.
Note:
The money processing fee is on your side
The cancellation of Yangtze River Cruise won’t get any refundment.
We will make the refundment in 14 work days since we receive your cancellation request in written form.
There won’t be any refundment if you don’t appear in your China tour. Once the tour begins, we cannot refund you for unenjoyed service because of your late arrival, early departure or missed days during your China tour.
If Shanghai Focus cancels any tour before the tour begins, we will make full refundment of the money we have received.
4. Adjustment of the Itinerary
It is free for you to adjust the itinerary in China before you pay a deposit to lock your booking. We will do our best to alter the itinerary until it fits your needs. But it needs a fee of US$ 10 per request to alter the itinerary after you pay the deposit.
ShanghaiFocus reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure.
5. Travel Documentation.
Travellers to China should hold a valid passort and necessary visas or some permits before come to China. You should get these documents by yourself. If necessary, your trip advisor of our website may assist you in applying there documentation, but we bear no responsibility or liability for failed application of these documentation.
6. Heath Requirements
While travelling abroad, some potential risks are unavoidable. Travellers should familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they plan to visit. They are solely responsible to check related conditions, such as safty, vaccination and other special requirements of health. Travellers to Tibet should especially pay attention to its very high altitude to avoid possible effects.. They should examine carefully that whether their blood pressure and heart condition are suitable to travel in such a high altitude.
7. Insurance
The tour packages in ShanghaiFocus have already included China Life and Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. Besides that we recommend stongly that you buy full coverage travel insurance in your own country or region. Only hotel or flight booking cannot get this insurance.
8. Complaints and Claims
During your tour in China, if you feel unsatisfied with the service we provide. Please tell your tour guide or your trip advisior so that we can correct timely and privide better service.
Your complaint or claim for compendation is still valid in two weeks after your China tour ends. You may notify us by e-mail, regular mail or fax. Necessary proofs should be provided together with your claim letter. But we won’t handle complaint made later than 14 days after the end of your tour.
9. Responsibility
The responsibility of our website is strictly limited.
We are not responsible for any loss, injury, casualty or damage because of force majeure, such as climatic abnormity, breakkdown of machinery or equipment, wars, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond ShanghaiFocus’s control.
The operation of a China tour package includes many parties. Some of them are not directly managed or controlled by ShanghaiFocus, such as cruise ship, transportation carriers, hotels and other cooperating parties. Tourochina is not responsible for the loss, injury, casualty or damage caused by these parties. But we will bear the reponsibility to handle the willful or negligent acts of our partner travel agents for the land services.
Many China exploration tours need travellers’ carefulness and attention, such as baording or disembarking cruise ship, climbing mountain and exploring remote area. Our tour guide will offer propriate help and advice. But all the activities are practiced at your own risk. So we are not liable for accidents which happen after our representatives have exercised their duty.
