Xian 4-Day Tour
DAY 01: Arrive in Xian No Prearranged Meals
Our guide met us at Xian Airport. Then transferred to check in the hotel. For the rest of the day we were free to plan our own activities. We suggested that we have a good rest in the hotel.
DAY 02: Xian Breakfast + Lunch
After breakfast, began our Xian exploration - one of the birthplaces of the ancient Chinese civilization in the Yellow River Basin area as well as the eastern terminal of the Silk Road. Today, we visited the last one, Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is also regarded as the the world eighth wonder. As the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, these altogether 7,000 life-size pottery soldiers, horses, chariots and weapon guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang in silence during the 2000 years history. Then headed to Shaanxi History Museum - the newly built modern building recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.
DAY 03: Xian Breakfast + Lunch
Today we visited the landmark of Xian - Big Wild Goose Pagoda (7 floors, 64.5meters high), a holy place for Buddhists, rated as a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve as well as an AAAA Tourist Attraction. It is the place where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. Then toured Xi'an City Wall, the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. In the afternoon, visited the Forest of Stone Steles Museum, with 900 years of history, it holds a large collection of the earliest stone steles of different periods, from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty.
DAY 04: Depart from Xian Breakfast
Free on our own activities till the transfer to the airport for our reture flight. We had a very nice Xian 4-day Tour.
