11-Day East China Tour

DAY 01

Met the guide at Guilin airport and then transferred to the check in the hotel. We had a good rest or explored the city by ourselves.

DAY 02

We boarded a ferry and had a cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Lunch on board. The ferry arrived at Yangshuo in the afternoon. Strolled along the West Street - the main boulevard in Yangshuo. Checked in a Yangshuo hotel and overnight there.

DAY 03

After breakfast, we drove back to Guilin and visited Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave. We also spent some time strolling along Zhengyang Pedestrain Street.

DAY 04

We took morning flight to Shanghai. Be met by a local guide at Shanghai airport. After lunch, we took a half-day tour of Shanghai. Visited City God Temple, Xintiandi, Nanjing, the Bund and Oriental Pearl TV Tower (up to the 2nd deck). Checked in hotel and overnight in Shanghai.

DAY 05

The local Shanghai tour guide picked us up in the hotel and then drove us to expo sites (expo one-entry tickets included). Visited the expo sites on our own. And get transferred back to our hotel from expo sites in the afternoon. Free evening for our own activties.

DAY 06

The driver drove us from Shanghai to Hangzhou in the morning. It took around 2.5 hours to arrive in Hangzhou. Hangzhou is a very famous city in China, because of its picturesque West Lake and profound history. This afternoon, with the escort of local guide, we visited the West Lake, Flower Harbor, Six Harmonies Pagoda and a green tea plantation. Checked in hotel and overnight in Hangzhou.

DAY 07

This morning, continued our tour of Hangzhou. Highlights are Peak Flying from Afar & Lingyin Temple. After lunch, drive to Tunxi (Huangshan City) - around 4-hour driving. Upon arrival, checked in hotel and have a good rest.

DAY 08

Visited Hongcun, a world cultural heritage, this morning. This is a good chance to know featured culture which is well-known in China as Huizhou Culture. After lunch, drove to take cable car up to the Mt. Huangshan. Overnight in a hotel on the mountain.

DAY 09

We got up early this morning to catch the spectacular viewing of sunrise on the mountain. After breakfast, began our exploration with the escort of the local guide. 

DAY 10

We were free for our own activities this morning and then took cable car to the foot of the mountain. After lunch, drive to Nanjing, the Capital City of Six Dynasties. Checked in hotel upon arrival. Then took evening tour to Nanjing's most renowned tourist site Confucius Temple.

DAY 11

Continued sightseeing of Nanjing after breakfast in hotel. Today in Nanjing we visited Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Linggu Temple, Yangtze River Bridge, and Nanjing Museum.
